    Very poisonous organic impurities will steam distill with water, and IN FACT be concentrated in the distillate.

    Eg benzene gasoline and diesel components and all water insoluble hydrocarbons and halogenated hydrocarbons

      Many thanks for your comment.

      It is true, that if a distiller is improperly constructed these compounds will concentrate in the distilate.

      However, Pure and Secure has been designing water distillation systems for over 50 years and Pure Water distillers are designed with this in mind.

      1) at the top of the condensing coil there are three little holes for volatile organic compounds (VOC) to be released as a gas while the water vapor is being condensed. Many if not all of these compounds will be released here.

      2) Pure Water distillers also have a carbon filter that the distilate passes through, making it ready for consumption. The result is water that is consistently 99.99% pure.

      No other process can legitimately make this claim.

      There are many distillers on the market today that may look like Pure Water distillers however they lack these design qualities.
